User’s manual for adapter MK123 1. Parts kitting To compensate diameter difference between monocular lenses and eyepieces of day sights, use rings (fig.1, position 1) in the accordance with shown tables 1 and 3. To avoid penetration of outside illumination it is necessary to use blinds (fig.1, position 2) according to table 2.
Put rings you chose into the adapter according to fig.1. For that, turn off binding screws (fig.2, position 1) and pull adapter clamps apart (fig.2, position 2). To mount a blind, push the button (fig.2, position 3) and turn down moving adapter parts towards one another. Insert the blind you chose according to fig.1.
Twist monocular lens in extreme position. Insert the monocular into the adapter according fig.3. Close adapter screws tight. Check move freeness of the lens between extreme adjustment positions. Twist the lens in extreme position and check, there should be no space free between the lens rim and the blind (fig.3, position 1)
If sight’s eyepiece is moving, adjust aiming reticle in order to see it clear. Attach the adapter to sight’s eyepiece up to the stop and close screws tight.
Turn on the monocular; adjust critical definition rotating the lens. If it is not enough lens motion for adjustment, take off the adapter from sight’s eyepiece and twist eyepiece in for some turns. Attach the adapter to the sight’s eyepiece and try to adjust it again. 6. Sample of the system.
